Devs just need to get more creative and innovative, as Naughty Dog did with the PS3 at the end of last gen with The Last of Us. As for this generation, look at Horizon: Zero Dawn and it's still stands alone in terms of graphical fidelity for an open world game. This means there's still plenty of room for improvement from all other developers.
No one else wanted it on PlayStation/Xbox, so I guess Nintendo may as well have it.
The series doesn’t interest me at all, but if it helps boost Switch sales then that’s a good thing for getting other 3rd party AAA games that I may want.
Right now DKC:TF is the only Switch game I want in the near future, but I’m still holding out hope for Fire Emblem & Animal Crossing for 2018 on Switch.
I'll pay for DLC if it's worth it, just to prolong a game I really want more of, but I'll never pay for crap like loot crates, etc.
If companies want more money out of me for a game then they need to create some top quality DLC as we've seen in Horizon: Zero Dawn and The Witcher III. These two games are still the best examples of DLC done right imo.
Dragon’s Crown and SotC are remakes/re-releases, so their sales can be very hard to predict. Also releasing near such a huge title like MHW doesn’t help matters.
That said, I’ll be buying Dragon’s Crown day 1 when it releases here in Australia as it’s my favourite Vita game and one of my favourite PS3 games.
I just hope there’s a separate trophy list as I have the Platinum for the PS3/PSV.

I really don't like it when sites are setup this way, but I had a laugh at how bad all these games were outside of Bloodborne (which is masterful).
I really hope we can now get a Saints Row 5.
Agents of Mayhem held no interest for me and took out character customisation, one of the best things about SR3 and SR4.
I hasn't even been out a year yet, so if it was slowing down already then Nintendo would have a problem.
Sony isn't slowing down either and their console has been out for over 4 years.

Outside of Bloodborne 2, which definitely needs a sequel, the rest of this list is shit.
Monster Hunter World is the standout for me so far in 2018.
